Why you should upgrade to the plug and play Meng Motorsports HID conversion kit:Have you ever noticed certain cars at night with beautiful headlights that extremely stick out from the crowd? They most likely have HID kits installed. High Intensity Discharge bulbs are the latest in technology that not only improves the appeal of your vehicle but also the visibility for driving at night or in inclement weather. You will notice a beam that shines extremely further and wider when compared to halogen bulbs. How do they do it? Simple, HID bulbs are designed using a different technology to produce the light. Instead of a fine piece of wire filament, the light comes from a glass chamber of gas with no filament. Thus, road bumps and shock cannot damage the lamp. Refer to the color chart below:

Color Choice: Please keep in mind that higher kelvin does not add more light. A 6000K kit will have slightly more blue in the color with a slight decrease of brightness when compared to a 5000K kit. Regardless of which bulb, HIDs are still a drastic improvement over dull halogen bulbs. Never touch the actual bulb with skin, as the oils from the skin can damage the bulb. Colors above 5000K may attract attention with law enforcement, so please carefully consider which color to purchase.
Certain applications have both the hi and low beam settings that run on one unit. Single HID kits enable those applications to have the low beam to be HID while a separate halogen bulb is placed for the high beam setting. Bi-Xenons allow
both the low and hi beam to be HID for a more complete HID upgrade. Bi-xenon kits also come with its own controller relay harness. The optional relay harness is not needed when purchasing a bi-xenon kit. Bi-Xenon kits are only available for select bulb sizes.

-Slim Ballasts: Want slimmer ballasts to help keep the engine bay looking clean? We offer slim ballasts that are less than half the size of our heavy duty ballasts! With no shortcuts taken, all our slim ballasts still go through strict inspection and pass all quality control tests. Keep in mind that because the slim ballasts case are so small, there is less rubber injection. So our heavy duty ballasts are ultimately more shockproof.
-Bi-Xenon Upgrade Kit: These are basically bi-xenon kits without the ballasts. These kits are designed for owners who already have a regular HID kit, but wish to upgrade to Bi-Xenon. Our Bi-Xenon upgrade kits will work with all major universal ballasts. Kit will include Bi-Xenon bulbs with the required Bi-xenon controller harness.
